TRAVEL

Q. How do I get to the Convention venue?
A. Click onto www.GoThere.sg website

Going From:     [enter whichever location you are at]
Going To:         500, Upper Bukit Timah Road

www.Gothere.sg is an excellent website that tells you the exact time, fare amount and all the bus or train transfers. Check it out yourself!

Q. How do I travel around in Singapore?
A. For more information on how to get around in Singapore, please visit www.GoThere.com or http://www.sbstransit.com.sg or http://www.smrt.com.sg. Taxis are also relatively inexpensive for a group of four passenger travel in Singapore.

Q. Will there be anyone to receive me at Changi Airport?
A. The answer is No. Changi Airport is huge with many terminals. Furthermore delegates arrive at different times of the day. We suggest that you make your own way from the airport arrival hall to the Changi Airport MRT Station located under Terminals 2 and 3. From the Changi Airport MRT Station ask for directions to 500, Upper Bukit Timah Road - Praisehaven Retreat Centre. The first train arrives at around 0530hr and the last leaves at 2318hr.

Q Have you got any advice for me?
A. Yes, and here are some.

1. Please arrive at least a day early if you are traveling from an international destination to Singapore.
2. We strongly recommended that you do not arrive on the morning of the Convention.
3. If you are traveling by public transportation in the MRT or the subway, carry a small suitcase with wheels. The key is to travel light.
4. Be prepared to pay about SGD $3 for a 90 minutes ride on public transport of trains or buses. This is very inexpensive by international standards!!!
5. Singapore is a very safe and friendly country. But still take care of your personal belongings.
