Prayer Points
Please partner with us in prayer as we plan, prepare and publish SAGC 2009. Continue to pray for more people to catch the vision of SAGC 2009 and its theme – Beyond Boundaries (Isaiah 54:2)

 
Organizing Team
Pray for recruitment of Leaders and Volunteers who have servant-hearts, are competent, teachable and who have no schedule conflicts.

Hospitality for Speakers and Overseas Guests
To be able to pull a team together to take care of this.

Medical Team
To be able to get some medical doctors/ nurses to be volunteers at SAGC 2009.

Global Publicity Team (GPT)

Registrations
Pray that God will continue to speak to South Asians worldwide as they pray about coming to SAGC 2009.
That spiritual bridges will be built between Singapore and the nations to make way for people to come.
Continue to lift up individuals and groups that have already expressed interest. Pray for God to provide finances.

Brochures
We're now sending out brochures to be distributed to church members. Pray that they may find their way into the hands of the right people.

Local Churches
We've received very favorable responses from several churches. Pray that this favor will materialize into actual registrations.
Effective church follow-up with the churches we have already spoken at or with.

South Asian Community
To call South Asian churches to participate in SAGC 2009, change their mindset and stir their hearts for local and global mission.
To show us how to publicize to the South Asian people from now until July 2009, and to help participants effectively.
Confirmation in the hearts of those who are considering participating, the overcoming of their obstacles so they will be able to come.

Volunteers
Pray for management of volunteers. Volunteers are needed to help in many areas from July 22- 26, 2009.
Detailed mind to set up trainings for the volunteers.

Air-Ticketing & Accommodation
For patience and favor from airlines and travel agents and affordable accommodation for delegates.
Pray that every need for housing and travel will be met.

Conference
Setting up of the conference. Pray that we won't miss any detail.
The ability to source and account for all the items to bring to the PraiseHaven Retreat Centre

Local Transportation
Pray that we will be able to arrange all necessary transfers

General

1. Strength, wisdom and clear minds to see all the details and to know how to organize everything and to see what may have been overlooked.

2. Harmony in team relationships

3. Favor with outside vendors and organizations

4. Organizing Team – "Hide them under the pinion of Your wings, Lord

5. Physical and spiritual protection over all involved in putting this together, their families and all whom they work with.
The team's focus and walk with the Lord. The passion to make God known comes from knowing Him. It is vital that our task force keeps that focus on Him.

6. UNITY in vision and spirit. In running a huge project like this, may grace abound!

7. For the Singapore Organizing Team, their working relations with South Asian Connection, South Asian volunteers from across the nations, and all churches and organizations we work with.

We need help: Volunteers for SAGC 2009 

We need local and international volunteers to help in the following areas:

1. Airport Reception Team
Responsible for welcoming group participants as they arrive at Changi Airport on Tuesday 21st July 2009.
Direct them to Help desk; explain to them transportation options & how to get to place of accommodation at PraiseHaven Retreat Centre.

2. Bus Captain
For fetching large groups, from airport to place of accommodation
1. Willing to stay-in with groups to facilitate their needs and enquiries
2. Ensure group arrives at Conference venue on time

4. Registration
1. Responsible for handling registration for all participants

5. Cashiers/ Accounts  
1. Responsible for handling cash
2. Tally and account for all collections during the conference

6. Travel Partner Assistant
1. Assigned to assist persons who are physically challenged.

7. General Secretariat
1. Assist in all secretarial/administrative needs which would includes, photocopying, preparing slides, answering calls

8. Video team
1. Move around conference; capture highlights, participants' candid shots, behind the scene shots
2. Film audience/participants during Praise and Worship

9. Photographer team
1. Move around conference; capture highlights, participants' candid shots, behind the scene shots
2. Take group shots in the course of the conference
3. Film audience/participants during Praise and Worship

10. Editing team
1. Responsible for editing conference footages from the day before, to be aired the following morning

11. IT Technical team
1. Responsible for setting up IT/Computer systems
2. Maintain & troubleshoot any technical problem

1.Practicing doctor or registered nurses to be on stand-by in case of emergencies

15. Stage crew
1. Support production team and manage the running of entire conference/P&W event
